I'll finish up this fall and spring and then I'm transferring to College of the Atlantic.
I really don't like UMaine. It's never really clicked with me like COA did. When I took a tour of COA this summer something just stood out about the college. Perhaps because it's one of the greenest colleges in the US.......Perhaps it's because you design your own curriculum and don't take unnecessary classes that have nothing to do with your major....people know you, you get to know your professors (super small classes), and things are more hands-on.
This animal science major I am in is mostly for farmers I've found out...not what I want to do. I'm sick of big lecture classes also. It's more of the same and it's not interesting me. COA's philosophies of interconnectedness fits with my frame mind well and I'll feel good in a place that respects the environment 100%. It's essentially a hippy school and makes me happy lol
I'm stoked. My credits transfer 100% too. And COA's graduate program is free! I intend on getting my masters there.
At last, I'll be at peace -_-
One more time of relocating this upcoming summer and we're good lol
